Our story
Before Candin, our founder spent years roasting and selling coffee. Enough years to know how a cafe actually thinks about margin, bench space and Monday rainy-morning chaos. Candin was built from that vantage point.
The canned drink trend arrived a while ago. Cold brew, nitro, matcha, the odd deconstructed dessert in a jar. Most cafes watched it from the sidelines, because the usual way in was a co-packer and a minimum order measured in tens of thousands of units. That works if you’re launching a beverage brand. It doesn’t work if you want to trial a seasonal cold brew for six weeks and see what happens.
So we built the other way in. A benchtop machine, a supply of cans and lids, no factory contract required. Seal to order, at the bar, in the time it takes to pull a shot.
We also picked a clear can on purpose. A sealed drink you can’t see into is a gamble for the customer and a wasted opportunity for you. Clear PET shows the cold brew’s colour, the iced latte’s layers, the matcha doing its thing. It sells itself before anyone reads the label.

There’s a practical upside too. A seamed, airtight lid survives a courier run on a bad afternoon. Cafes running on one of the food delivery operators or their own delivery round notice this fast, usually the week after their first spillage complaint.
The idea is simple. Your recipe, your brand, your margin, in a can that looks like it belongs on the shelf.
